How to apply red lipstick

Acing the red look requires clean and clear complexion. Blemishes, dark spots, under eye circles combined with a bright red lips looks terrible and untidy. Ensure that your face and lips are prepared before you rock that red lipstick.
here are steps on how to apply red lipstick

1.apply lip balm to your lips: by the time you are ready to apply the lipstick, your lips will be soft and smooth.

2.prime your face

3.remove lip balm from your lips with a cloth or cotton bud and do so with a bit of pressure- this way, any dead skin cells there, will be removed, leaving your lips soft, smooth, fresh and exfoliated.

4.Apply foundation to your face

5.Apply lip liner to shape your lips, working from the corners to the centre of your lips. Smile while working on the lower lip to fill in any blanks with colour.

6.Apply lipstick with a brush for smoother application and longer lasting effect. Step back from the mirror to see what colour intensity you want.

7.Blot the lips with a tissue and apply another layer of lipstick- the lipstick will stay longer then apply lip gloss.

when you are done with the lips, decide what eye makeup will be appropriate and how much blush to add. you might not want to add anything else as red lips are a strong, bold statement on their own.

I hope you find this post helpful and fun.*winks*
