Get Rid of those Dark circles and Puffiness
 
 
Dark  circles and puffy eyes are a woman's worst nightmare oouch!!! they can make one look older unkempt and even unhealthy. A variety of factors can trigger this problems with stress and lack of sleep topping the list.
 
The essence of this post is to share with you a few home remedies that will help you get rid of dark circles and under eye puffiness in a fairly short amount of time. Also in this post, I briefly discussed some tips that will help you prevent dark circles and puffiness in the first place. stay tuned!
 
1. Splash on some cold water: Cold water does really help in reducing the puffiness by allowing the built in fluid around the eyes to circulate in your face.
 
2.cucumber slices: Almost every woman have seen a picture or two of  a person relaxing with 2 cucumber slices lying on their eyes. This therapy produces result that's why its popular, It involves a little  and easy process. Cut two slices of fresh cucumber and place them on your eyes in  such a way that each slice covers the puffy skin and under eye dark circles, and ensure you lie down in a relaxed atmosphere  for about 10 to 15 minutes to carry out this treatment. you will definitely be impressed at how much damage this slices of cucumber can reverse. You can also use this as a skin care treatment for the delicate skin around your eyes.

3.Tea bags: Tea bags are another popular home remedy that are effective in combating puffiness and dark circles.This is made possible because of one of its ingredients- tannin. Use two tea bags that have been soaked in cold water and place them over your eyes, leaving them for about 10 to 15 minutes.
 
4.Frozen table spoon method: Place two metal table spoons in the freezer for about 20 -25 minutes. Take them out and place each one of them over each of your eyes. leave them on there until the temperature of the spoon matches your body temperature. This has  been known to produce remarkable results for some people.

 
 
 
Preventing Dark Circles and Puffy eyes
 
a. Get enough sleep. you must sleep  for at least 8 hours a day and at the same time everyday
.
b.Make changes to your diet. Eat more of healthy food and fruits and reduce your salt intake.
 
c.Avoid stress as much as possible as it induces puffiness.
 
d.Stay away from alcohol.
 
e.Stay hydrated by drinking lots  and lots of water , at least 8 glasses of water a day.

  1. i heard too much wearing of foundation everyday causes pimples. and i have noticed this several times. and because i hard;y go out without foundation, the pimples become very serious, now am forced to go to work without a makeup, making me look horrible. please what to i do to my face cos i dont like my look at all. #sad face#

  2. do you recommend cream for faces like mine, am light in complexion and i hav pimples all over as if these pimples are having elders meeting on my face. i dnt have a specific cream and my face is looking so unhealthy. plz i need your help. i want to look my age or even younger. dis naija weather is disgusting kaii.
